Bhubaneswar: At the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign has transformed into a mass movement. It has created a wave of patriotism in the hearts of every Indian. “The Tricolour is our identity and our pride.” Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said this while inaugurating the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program at the capital’s Hatiasuni ground on behalf of the state government today.

He further stated that our unity can defeat any external enemy. “The youth have one voice — our nation will remain secure.” He urged everyone to hoist the national flag at their homes. Today, the country is progressing rapidly, and we rank fourth in the global economy. “Odisha plays an important role in the development of the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is extending all kinds of support to the youth.”

Deputy Chief Ministers Pravati Parida and Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Sports and Youth Services Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Manmohan Samal, BJP State In-charge Vijay Singh Tomar, and others were present at the event.

On August 9, a state-level “Tiranga Rally” is being organized by the Sports and Youth Services Department, in which Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated. Similar Tiranga processions are being held at the district level. To make the program successful, women’s self-help groups are preparing 6 million national flags, which are being distributed across districts.

On August 14, the state-level “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” will be observed at Jayadev Bhavan under the aegis of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi. The day will also be observed across all districts. Families affected during the partition of the country will be honored, and candlelight marches will be organized.
