Union Minister Jual Oram Issues Clarification on Prakash Paswan; Calls for Fair Probe into Rourkela Circuit House Row
Rourkela/Bhubaneswar, August 23: Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram has clarified his position on the controversy involving Prakash Paswan, a BJP worker from Rourkela, following allegations linked to the recent Circuit House incident.
Oram said that Paswan is an active BJP worker and serves as his representative in the Rourkela Municipal Corporation. He maintained that if there are allegations against Paswan in connection with the Circuit House episode, the matter should be investigated through a fair and transparent inquiry.
The controversy erupted after it came to light that rooms at the Rourkela Circuit House had allegedly been booked for seven men who were later arrested by police with arms and ammunition. The development led to political and public concern, following which the BJP suspended Paswan.
Jual Oram Calls for Transparent Investigation
