Bapi Sir Provides Free Dance Training to Underprivileged Children in Rourkela
Rourkela, : In a commendable initiative to promote dance and cultural education among underprivileged children, dance instructor Bapi Sir has been providing free dance training to children from economically weaker sections in Rourkela.
Bapi Sir has been associated with dance training for several years and has helped a large number of children develop their skills. His initiative aims to ensure that financial difficulties do not prevent talented children from learning dance and participating in cultural activities.
Along with regular dance training, he encourages students to take part in cultural programmes and competitions, helping them build confidence and develop their artistic abilities.
His involvement in social-service activities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he reportedly extended support to people in need. His efforts have received appreciation from students, parents and members of the local community.
Bapi Sir reportedly provides free training to around 200 children and conducts various dance and art-related activities. Through these programmes, he seeks to promote discipline, confidence, creativity and social awareness among children.
He has also organised programmes based on social themes, including “Adhikar” (Rights) and “Tame Pain Mu, Mo Pain Tu”, using dance and cultural expression to communicate social messages.
His initiative reflects an effort to make dance and cultural education more accessible to children who may not otherwise be able to afford professional training. Bapi Sir also aims to provide talented students with opportunities to participate in larger cultural platforms and competitions.
